There was on Thursday, 16th of October, at the Building of the Republic Parliament a celebration of the 55th birthday of the “Vecernje Novosti”. Many significant people from cultural and public life of Serbia, just as many ambassadors attended this event. In the name of the Serbian Strength Movement – Bogoljub Karic this celebration attended Ljubica Vukotic – general manager and Jadranka Tasic – member of the EB and the spokesman of the Movement. Serbia had enough of wars

The First World War was finished on this day, 90 years ago. It was an international conflict with 19 countries and 70 million solders participating in it. Every of these countries suffered enormous destruction and loses and total number of killed and dead people was more than 79 million. Unfortunately, Serbia was on the first place with loses of 28%, 1, 3 million, of its total citizens.
Heroism and firmness of Serbian army and people are the most honorable moments of our national history. We were on the victorious side and after the war both the victors and defeated considered us as brave, knight and highly moral nation.
This very day is a good opportunity for us to remind that Serbia participated in every big conflict in Europe in the last 100 years. The First World War started when Austria and Germany attacked Serbia. Our territory was a war field for the hardest battles in most of these wars (Balkan war, Second World War, alliance bombing, NATO bombing). After the First World War Serbia had 200.000 disabled people, half of million children lost their parents…

Create means beside the budget
Economy Chamber of Belgrade organized a lecture in the Sava Center about “Instructions for creation of better conditions for investments by improving the tax system in Serbia”. Participants of this meeting, professors of the Belgrade University, representatives of various ministries, Institute for the economy, Council of foreign investors and respected domestic businessmen were talking about their impressions and experiences in this field.
Mr. Dragomir J. Karic, founder and the first president of the International University for business and administration, participated in discussion and introduced all participants with a model of making profit beside the budget that is used in many great cities all over the world, such as Moscow, New York, Toronto and many others.

Session of the Executive Board
The Executive Board of the Main Board of the Serbian Strength Movement – Bogoljub Karic had a regular session on Tuesday, November 4th when the Report about realization of the planned activities and tasks was discussed. Beside members of the Executive Board, this meeting also attended Dragomir J. Karic, Deputy of the President of the Movement, Jasmina Mitrovic – Maric, Vice President of the Movement and few presidents of the Communal Boards.
President of the Executive Board, Dragan M. Milosevic emphasized maintaining and development of the organization. He informed the EB about results: there were 4 election assembles of the CB, in Niska Banja, Gornji Milanovac, Kikinda and Krusevac and meetings in 19 counties. There were also meetings with members in 8 Belgrade communities where the management of the City Board and representatives of the Executive Board informed them about resent activities, current tasks and messages of the President of the Main Board of the Movement. |

Tycoons and Parties

Mr. Miodrag Radivojevic, an Associate of the Institute for political studies was talking, on the News, about tycoons and financing of parties. He said that rich men are financing all significant parties in Serbia, both from the Government and opposition, because “the wheel of luck is turning around” and it is smart to have a good seat on it. He also said:
- They are not risking: they put money on several players and one of them will certainly be a winner. Of course, they take the profit from their investment after the elections. When the politicians, financed by them, form the Government, these tycoons get privileged position in the most profitable deals in the country. The money they invest in political parties is always a very good investment for them. Problems begin when businessmen wish to become politicians, just as Bogoljub Karic who obviously thought that it would have been much better for him to keep the money instead of paying politicians”. |

Lobbies fight and citizens are paying it

Serbian Government decided that citizens will pay the disputed price of gasoline on two installments. Will see if that decision will help citizens to forget all corruption affairs discovered during fight between parties. According to our experience from the past it is going to be one more unsuccessful try to stop criminal and corruption because it all starts from the top of power.
It is very interesting that officials from the G17+ are involved in almost all affairs and that Cedomir Jovanovic, leader of the LDP is discovering it. When we talk about gasoline – Jovanovic has accused Mladjan Dinkic too and TV B92 is one of the televisions which reports about it regularly.
I am citing comments of the TVB92 in this affair – import of the Russian gasoline through 37 or even more agents which resulted increase of the price for 60% - “current condition of corruption and criminal in our nation” is following:
“I think that Mr. Jovanovic did a right thing insisting that the public should know the truth. He is right, people have to know the truth, but he should not use it in political contest and accuse innocent people “, said Dinkic. |

Initiative started in our editorial office.
Further medical treatment of Bogdan Bukumirovic, from Gorazdevac, near Pec, who was badly wounded five years ago in the attack of the Albanian terrorists, will finance Dragomir J. Karic, deputy of the president of the Serbian Strength Movement – Bogoljub Karic. The young man will also, as Karic promised, get a scholarship.
